Rehmat’ lehenga and ‘Vasl’ choli in Varanasi silk brocade feature floral motifs drawn from the inlay designs seen in Rajputana and Mughal architecture. The rich red ensemble is adorned with intricate gold zari work all over. The lehenga is highlighted with a broad gold border at the hem. The choli is designed with a V-neckline and short sleeves, showcasing the same intricate gold embroidery.
The ensemble is completed with a matching red dupatta, embellished with gold butas and a gold zari border, though it is not included with the lehenga set.
Natural variations in colors and weave are part of the textile, as it is handwoven.
